Kate was born and raised in Northern Minnesota and has been living in New York City for the past 10 years. She received a B.A. in Sociology from The College of Saint Catherine, in Saint Paul, MN. Kate was an associate strategist for Fallon New York (advertising agency) in 1998, before realizing she wanted to be a photographer. Kate has spent the last 7 years working primarily with families and children and her work has been published in PDN and Time Out New York. Outside of photography she has worked on several freelance research & writing assignments for the Oxygen Network and in her free time loves to travel, read and cook.
